Overview

Having personally walked through injury, major surgery and the rehabilitative process, I found helped me return to quality movement: 1) a consistent and balanced yoga practice, and 2) mindful strength training.

We have a mutual goal: To help your patients achieve their best possible health outcomes 

My name is Michelle Spore of CollabFitness + Yoga and I’m very excited to partner with Innova Physical Therapy to offer patients the Sustainable Health Program. This unique yoga and personal training program can be a beneficial next step following physical therapy or medical care to maintain and build optimal health.

I am a life-long learner, and use my knowledge, professional expertise, personal experiences, and the belief that we are all meant to move well over a lifetime, to guide every class and session I offer.

I am committed to collaboration, working with providers, to see individuals take a holistic approach to quality movement, and learn how to build sustainable yoga and exercise practices.

Good movement should be approached with knowledge, balance and joy. I’m here to support that for your patients.

I’ve been doing restorative yoga 1:1 with Michelle for the past year and I am in love with the practice she creates specifically for me. I tried many group yoga classes but they were never tailored to my needs. Michelle takes into account every aspect and every issue in the body and builds up a program to support me and my personal goals. During our sessions there is always an open dialog and co-creation going on. We start from where I am on a particular day and adjust based on how I am doing. I feel the practice is made to fit me, and not the other way around. In her teaching, Michelle is focusing a lot on deep connection with the body – I am much better now at doing proper form without looking in the mirror, which is very liberating.
