I want to see you build strength & enjoy movement for a lifetime

Let’s get started.

There are so many great workouts you can do! Just open up a browser and you’ll have an unlimited amount of good ideas at your fingertips.

As a personal trainer, I truly enjoy writing workouts for clients that are challenging and fun as well!

However, without a macro-view approach, a workout can become an isolated event, possibly not leading anywhere.

This is why I offer programming for training and exercise. I make sure we have focal points that change a few times throughout the year based on your desires and your context.

What do you want from exercise? That’s your desired goal we will always keep in focus. What are your current circumstances? That’s the context we have to work with.

Periodization and progression

Let’s have a quick chat about periodization and progression when it comes to exercise.

Periodization is defined as the planned manipulation of training variables (load, sets, and repetitions) in order to maximize training adaptations (strength and performance gains!) and to prevent the onset of overtraining.

This means we track your progress over time, keeping in mind that circumstances can always change and we have the ability to adapt effortlessly! It’s empowering and also a lot of fun. 🙂

I ensure that my clients:

  • go beyond one-off workout plans (what happens after those intense January workout challenges you impose on yourself?)
  • learn tools and gain know-how to create those all-important mind-body-strength-recovery-enjoyment connections!
  • build strength and good health for the long-term

Evidence shows that a mindful approach to physical fitness, that is enjoyable and attainable, can be sustained for years to come with outstanding results.

When it comes to your own exercise practices, I encourage you to ask yourself:

  • Can your workouts scale up or down depending on your time, resources and energy levels?
  • Do you know when to not exercise – or if you should exercise when injured or sick?
  • Are you enjoying your exercising (or is it something you dread)?
  • Would you know what to do if you went to the gym today to exercise?
  • Could you exercise without a bunch of gym equipment?
  • Do you know how to exercise and move well for the rest of your life?

These are questions that I help my clients answer. In my experience, the answers are unique to every individual, and the possibilities are endless!
