Private Sessions
If your relationship with movement is changing, private sessions give you one-on-one support designed around where your body is today. Personal training builds strength and physical fitness through safe, adaptive protocols. Yoga therapeutics is individualized, designed around what your body and mind need that day. Many clients combine both, and we'll work out the right mix together.

Private personal training
For personal training, I focus on building strength and physical fitness through safe, adaptive protocols that progress with you, not a fixed plan you have to force yourself into. I take an awareness-based approach: you'll build movement intelligence, learning to notice what's happening in your body and understand the why behind what you're doing.
I have particular experience working with clients returning to exercise after surgery, injury, or while managing a chronic condition, helping people build real confidence and consistency in their own bodies and circumstances. Sessions run $90 for 55 minutes, currently offered virtually.
A 3% fee applies to card payments. There's no fee when you pay by Venmo or Zelle.
Private Yoga, With a Therapeutic Approach
My private yoga sessions are immersive and individualized, designed around what your body and mind need that day, without losing sight of your goals, not a fixed sequence. I draw on the traditional wisdom of yoga while staying grounded in how it applies to your actual body and life right now.
As a Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist, I bring advanced training in orthopedic work (spine, shoulder, hip), nervous system support, and female health across the lifespan to every session, especially useful if you're working around an injury, recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or navigating other special circumstances. Sessions run $90 for 55 minutes.

How it works
- Intake: We get to know each other, and I build a plan around your goals, through questions, assessments, and understanding where you're starting from. This is the foundation, not the final word.
- Refine: As we work together, I take in real-time information, from you and from any medical providers involved, to fine-tune your plan along the way.
- Discover: You'll hit key milestones as your practice and training grow, and over time, you start to feel more ease, more strength, more trust in your own body. We stay curious, keep adjusting, and enjoy the process together.
What Clients Are Saying
“I've been doing restorative yoga 1:1 with Michelle for the past year and I am in love with the practice she creates specifically for me. I tried many group yoga classes but they were never tailored to my needs. Michelle takes into account every aspect and every issue in the body and builds up a program to support me and my personal goals. During our sessions there is always an open dialog and co-creation going on. Michelle is an awesome yoga teacher, very knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. Every time I leave the room grateful, balanced, energized and more aware of the world around me.”
“I have some limitations when it comes to fitness, Michelle has done a great job at finding options that feel good to me while still building strength. When I started training with Michelle I had lost some muscle due to lockdown. A year later I have gained back that strength and more!”
“Michelle's ability to combine mindfulness and movement in a rewarding and empowered way is one of the many reasons I train with her monthly.”
